Announcement on the 7th IOC/WESTPAC
Training Course
on NEAR-GOOS Data Management

We will hold the 7th IOC/WESTPAC training course on the NEAR-GOOS Data Management at Japan
Oceanographic Data Center, Japan Coast Guard, Tokyo Japan from November
10 to 21, 2003. The training course aims to give the concept of NEAR-GOOS
and its function in the WESTPAC region, and the acquisition, processing,
compilation and exchange of oceanographic data in accordance with the principles
of the IODE programme to the trainees of the training course.
Up to seven places with the financial support from IOC
will be available for applicants from the WESTPAC member states,
and additional two places will be available for self-paying applicants.
