Marine geological and geophysical Data Catalogue

The data collected by Hydrographic Department in the geophysical survey and provided by NGDC(National Geophysical Data Center, NOAA) are described.

Bathymetry Data Catalogue

This catalogue includes digital data from smooth sheets for Ishikari Bay, Tokyo bay, Sagami bay, Suruga bay, Ise bay, Osaka bay, Inland Sea which were produced by Hydrographic Department, and also includes GEBCO(General Bathymetric Chart of the Ocean) data in the northwestern Pacific areas.

Tidal Constituent Catalogue

Tidal constituents from 690 tide stations in Japan and 4365 tide stations in the world are included. The Catalogue covers Name of station, location, observation period, number of constituent and distribution charts.

Tidal Current Data Catalogue

This catalogue contains data distribution charts, cruise ID, location, observation period, area name, number of tidal current constituent, observation depth, area code by cruise ID and by area code.

Ocean Current Data Catalogue

This catalogue includes data distribution chart by season, cruise ID, observation date and time, location.

Serial Station Data Catalogue

This catalogues provides data sources by country, distribution chart in 10 degree squares, distribution chart in 30 minute squares by annually, monthly.

Bathymetric Data Catalogue

This catalogue is for J-BIRD(JODC Bathymetry Integrated Random Data Set) which contains depth, contour, low tide line, coastal line.
Those data was retrieved from MGD77 data file and digitized from charts.

Marine Geophysical Data Catalogue

This catalogue is for depth, geomagnetism and gravity maintained in MGD77.
